What Is Toastmasters?
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Members progress through a flexible online learning program called Pathways, delivering speeches and taking on meeting roles that build real‑world skills.
What You’ll Learn
- How to organize and deliver clear, engaging speeches
- How to think on your feet with impromptu speaking
- How to give and receive constructive feedback

How a Typical Meeting Works
- Prepared speeches from members working in their Pathways projects
- Table Topics – short, fun impromptu speaking opportunities
- Evaluations – supportive feedback to help each speaker grow
- Leadership roles such as Toastmaster, Timer, Ah‑Counter, and more
How to Visit & Join
- Visit as a guest. Attend one or two meetings to experience the atmosphere.
- Ask questions. A club officer or member will be happy to explain how everything works.
- Decide if it’s a fit. When you’re ready, we’ll walk you through the membership process.
- Get a mentor. New members are paired with a mentor to help them get started.
- Start your journey. Give your Icebreaker speech and begin your Pathways path.
